FAQ
DRIED FLOWERS:
I'm planning my wedding. When should I order my dried flowers?
There are no holds, so if you see something you want, order it!
We grow, harvest, dry, take inventory, and put the numbers on the website. Because we grow in season and in field, we are not able to restock flowers until the next growing season.
New products launch each year on August 1st, and then subsequent launches occur on the 1st of the following months. During the winter and early spring we launch curated collections; these boxes are larger quantities of flowers at a reduced price.
What's the best way to store my dried flowers?
Dried flowers should be stored in a dry, dark space, such as the cardboard box they are shipped in.
My flowers are scrunched up from shipping, what do I do?
We pack orders as tightly as we can to avoid movement and breakage during shipping. Upon opening the box, we recommend lightly shaking out each bunch and hanging it upside down for a few days to let them expand naturally.
My flowers feel brittle, what do I do?
If your flowers feel brittle or snappy, pay attention to the humidity in your workspace. Heaters and wood stoves can make dried flowers excessively dry. If this occurs, try hanging the flower bunch in the bathroom or in a covered outdoor space overnight so they can reabsorb some moisture and become workable again.
How long will my wreath last?
Humidity and sunlight are the biggest factors affecting the longevity of a dried flower wreath. Wreaths displayed outdoors can fade, droop and possibly mold if exposed to the elements. Wreaths displayed indoors should be kept out of direct sunlight to avoid fading. Proper care will greatly extend the lifetime of your wreath.
EVENTS AND WORKSHOPS
Can I hold an event at the Farm Stand?
We do not rent out the Farm Stand, but we welcome group activities and visitors to use the lath house.
